Terms and conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all types of services Voyage.ng ("Voyage.ng", "we", "us", "our" or "ours") offer, both direct or indirect. The terms "you", "your", "yourself", "yours" and "customer" refer to the individual person, groups or corporation who subscribes to our offers, deals, creates an account with us, subscribe to our newsletter or makes a booking (whether complete/incomplete, successful/unsuccessful) on our platform. The terms "Final Party" and "Destination provider" refer to the hotel (not limited to organisations that go by 'hotel' only, but also applies to 'motels', 'inns', 'apartments', 'suites' and 'estates') that is advertised on Voyage.ng regardless of whether a signed deal between us and them exists or does not.
Our Service Scope
Voyage.ng provides temporary accommodation of all types, which include event hotel room, halls, motels, apartments, etc. The provision of these services are found on the website through which you can book for your chosen service. By placing a reservation through us, you enter into a legally binding agreement with the direct service provider (hotel and the likes) with which your reservation is made to. Right after your reservation is placed, Voyage.ng acts simply as a mediator between you and the service provider.
We pass along information you have provided towards placing a reservation unto the final party and relay confirmation messages, updates and invoices back to you via SMS and/or email for and on their behalf. The accuracy of information provided on the website is exclusive to the service providers who are responsible for updating their accounts with Voyage.ng on their current status. Though we aim to provide information about final parties which are as correct as possible, we will not confirm, neither will we guarantee that they are complete or accurate.
Hotel recommendations on our website are not given by us, we do not verify them and therefore cannot give assurance about them. We will only offer suggestions based on criteria provided by you, but choices made by you are entirely your decision and any disappointments that is met cannot amount to a liability that we would bear.
Unless indicated otherwise, our service is free of charge for consumers because, unlike many other parties, we will not charge you for our Trip Service or add any additional (reservation) fees to the rate. You will pay the Destination Provider the relevant amount as indicated in the Trip Reservation (plus—insofar not included in the price—relevant applicable taxes, levies, and fees (if applicable)).
Price Guarantee & Currency Exchange Rates
We offer three ways to make payment. There is an option to Pay in Cash on Your Arrival at the hotel, in which case, Voyage.ng cannot guarantee that your reservation will be kept for you until you arrive, or that we will inform you about cancellations before you arrive, and we are not responsible for any disappointments that may be faced by choosing this payment method or a hotel that accepts only it. With some hotels, you are only able to make payment for your reservation using this medium.
We present another option to pay into our locally operated Bank Account; you can pay money in three different ways: if you are not in Nigeria, an international bank transfer can be done, if you are situated anywhere within Nigeria, a local online bank transfer can be done or you may pay money directly into our bank account at any recognised branch of the bank we operate with.
The third payment option we offer is through the use of ATM Cards. You can pay with your ATM card through a third party link we provide on the website. Voyage.ng does not process any other type of card payments, including credit card payments. Any amount charged to you will be in Nigerian Naira. Tax rates and foreign exchange rates could change in the time between booking and stay.
Voyage.ng is a subsidiary company of D.E.A.L (the company behind Voyage.ng™) is registered and based in Lagos, Nigeria ("Voyage.ng", "we", "us" or "our"), from where it renders an online accommodation reservation service (the "Service") on its website (the "Website"),
For all enquiries about Voyage.ng, the Services and the Website or if you wish to send or serve any documents, correspondence, notices or other communications in respect of Voyage.ng, the Service, the Website, or for press enquiries, please contact Voyage.ng directly.
Freelance agents of voyage.ng do not operate and are not authorized to act as any form of process or service agent of Voyage.ng. No reservation can be made in or through them.
Your utilisation of any of our services warrant that you will not make unlawful use of this website, our social media platforms or any contents and materials we provide through other means with which we correspond with you or final parties on your behalf.
Only Service Providers which have a commercial relationship with voyage.ng (through an agreement) will be made available on Platform.
Prepayment, Refund, Cancellation, No-shows, and The Fine Print
By making a Destination Reservation with a Destination Provider, you accept and agree to the relevant cancellation and no-show policy of that Destination Provider, and to any additional (delivery) terms and conditions of the Destination Provider that may apply to your Trip (including the fine print of the Destination Provider made available on our Platform and the relevant house rules of the Destination Provider), including for services rendered and/or products offered by the Destination Provider. The relevant (delivery/purchase/use/carrier) terms and conditions of a Destination Provider can be obtained with the relevant Destination Provider. The general cancellation and no-show policy of each Destination Provider is made available on our Platform on the Destination Provider information pages, during the reservation procedure and in the confirmation email or ticket (if applicable). Note that certain rates, fees, or special offers are not eligible for cancellation, refund, or change. Applicable city/tourist tax may still be charged by the Destination Provider in the event of a no-show or charged cancellation. Check the (reservation) details of your product or service of choice thoroughly for any such conditions prior to making your reservation. Note that a Trip Reservation which requires down payment or (wholly or partly) prepayment may be canceled (without a prior notice of default or warning) insofar the relevant (remaining) amount(s) cannot be collected in full on the relevant due or payment date in accordance with the relevant payment policy of the Destination Provider and the reservation. Cancellation and prepayment policies may vary per segment, product, or service of each Trip. Carefully read The Fine Print (below the Trip types or at the bottom of each Destination Provider page on our Platform) and important information in your reservation confirmation for additional policies as may be applied by the Destination Provider (e.g. in respect of age requirement, security deposit, non-cancellation/additional supplements for group bookings, extra beds/no free breakfast, pets/cards accepted). Late payment, wrong bank, debit or credit card details, invalid credit/debit cards or insufficient funds are for your own risk and account, and you will not be entitled to any refund of any (non-refundable) prepaid amount unless the Destination Provider agrees or allows otherwise under its (pre)payment and cancellation policy.
If you want to review, adjust, or cancel your Trip Reservation, revert to the confirmation email and follow the instructions therein. Note that you may be charged for your cancellation in accordance with the Destination Provider's cancellation, (pre)payment and no-show policy, or not be entitled to any repayment of any (pre)paid amount. We recommend that you read the cancellation, (pre)payment and no-show policy of the accommodation provider carefully prior to making your reservation, and remember to make further payments on time as may be required for the relevant reservation.
If you have a late or delayed arrival on the check-in date or only arrive the next day, make sure to (timely/promptly) communicate this with the Destination Provider so they know when to expect you to avoid cancellation of your Trip (Reservation) or charge of the no-show fee. Our customer service department can help you if needed with informing the Destination Provider. Voyage.ng does not accept any liability or responsibility for the consequences of your delayed arrival or any cancellation or charged no-show fee by the Destination Provider.
Right after you make a reservation through the website, we will send a confirmation of receipt of this request and send subsequent emails and SMSs to keep you updated on the booking progress. You will most likely confirm your booking over the phone and advice us on how you intend to make payment, if you have not already done so (Please note that some accommodation providers either do not reserve their spaces or cannot guaranty the availability of your desired room/suite/apartment without prepayment)
Will remain in touch with you from the day you make your reservation, up until a week after you checkout to ensure you had a pleasant experience. We also welcome your feedback on hotels you stay in.
Ratings and Reviews
We are not responsible for rating and do not in any way influence ratings and reviews of hotels given by the public. Voyage.ng has no control over the rating tendencies and we cannot guarantee that the reviews are accurate or true, most of which are solely dependent on the likes and dislikes of the individual.
Delivery and Return Policy
Does not apply.
Refund of payment already paid to your preferred hotel is subject to their cancellation/no show charge. Payment not paid to the hotel at the time of cancellation attracts 100% refund.
Cancellation & no-show policy
Cancellation policies are two sides of a coin. By booking through Voyage.ng you accept both the cancellation and no-show terms of the destination provider and ours. Voyage.ng will give full refund of amount paid but not yet transferred to the destination provider. Refunds of money already paid to the final party will attract their cancellation/no-show charges and also have our delivery/execution of operations cost deducted. If you pay directly to the destination provider, Voyage.ng will not be accountable for or entitled to reimburse these types of payments and also payments made preceding your arrival at the hotel. Any of such refunds that come through us are only so on request by the destination provider and are not in any way our obligation.
Destination providers can only apply cancellation charges to payments already received by them and are fully responsible for payments made directly by clients either on arrival of to electronic means. Voyage.ng will not be answerable to any incidence of late or no payment by the customer to the hotel. To that end, we advice all final parties (having a signed deal with us or not) to ensure they provide alternative means of receiving long distance payments, much preferably in the form of a Nigerian Bank Account.
